This customers home had a rear covered patio that was sitting 2-3 inches lower than the rest of the foundation of the home. He gave us a call here at Atlanta Basement Systems to see what we would be able to do to help him out. We were able to send out one of our crews that specialize in concrete work and they were able to fix this problem for the customer. Our crew used PolyLevel which is a foam made of structural grade polymers. It is injected into the concrete through small holes that are drilled into the concrete, and the foam then expands and lifts the concrete. It is light-weight and won't add extra weight to the concrete and it is water and wash-out proof. This customer was left pleased with the results in knowing that their porch no longer felt like a drop off.

This basement had bowing and cracking foundation walls that were slowly worsening overtime. In order to stabilize the walls, we used the CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System. This system uses carbon fiber straps that are bonded to the wall. The straps stabilize the wall because the tension is up to 10 times strong then than steel. Justin and his crew were able to install the system quickly and efficiently. Now the wall is stabilized from further foundation problems.

This customer was having issues with an unlevel and cracked walkway as he walked up to his home. This is typically caused by the natural contraction and expansion of the concrete during the change of seasons and temperature outside. However, once there are cracks and voids in the concrete, this can lead to a slew of issues. When water enters these voids is can saturate the soil underneath leading to wash-out which can lead to foundation settling. He called us and we were able to send a crew out to PolyLevel and use NexusPro crack repair to resolve these issues for him. PolyLevel is a high-density, light weight foam that is made of structural grade polymers, and it helps to lift, level and stabilize the concrete. It is injected through small holes that are drilled into the concrete with specialized equipment. The foam expands and lifts to the correct height without adding weight. The PolyLevel foam is also water and wash-out proof. The NexusPro crack repair is a silicone-based sealent that prevents water infiltrations and helps to minimize soil softening. They begin by cleaning out the debris in the cracks and then filling them with the NexusPro. This will not break down during the natural contraction and expansion of the concrete. The best thing is that it is fast-curing which means that the driveway is not out of commission for a long period of time. This customer was left satisfied with his results.
