The beam supporting this homeowner's kitchen was weak and sagging. The sagging beam pulled away from the wall, resulting in visible cracks and a bouncy floor in the kitchen. For permanent stabilization and structure safety, SmartJack support posts were the most effective solution.  

To permanently repair the sagging floor problem this customer had above their basement, foundation repair foreman Devon Evans and his crew installed a steel supplemental beam and SmartJack Support Posts.

The carpet in this customer's finished basement was damaged by water leaks. To fix this problem, we installed an interior perimeter drainage system with a high quality sump pump. This system was designed to intercept the water leaks and direct them to the sump pump, allowing it to pump the water out of the basement quickly and efficiently.

This customer called us here at Atlanta Basement Systems with his garage area being a concern. His number one priority of this job was to get the garage lifted and stabilized. He was also noticing cracks on the outside of the home, the pre-existing ones were getting longer and new cracks had developed. The drywall in the garage was also developing cracks, so he knew this is something that he wanted to get fixed. Once the sales representative completed their inspection, they knew the best option to fix his problem was going to be the lintel lift. For the lintel lift they go through and install a curved steel beam on the sides and into the concrete at the base of the garage. Then, the steel beam is straightened out, and this is what lifts the garage up. The beam is then covered with a decorative piece to hide the steel underneath. They also filled in all of the cracks on the outside of the home, to keep up with aesthetics. This customer was left thoroughly happy with the results of this job.

Water was leaking into this crawl space whenever it rained. We installed an interior perimeter drainage system, a vapor barrier throughout the space, a sump pump system, and a dehumidifier in order to resolve the problem.
