This homeowner was looking to sell their home and were trying to complete all repairs to keep the value before selling their home. They had noticed that the staircase leading up to their home was beginning to dip down, and they wanted to stabilize it, without the hassle of redoing the whole brick staircase. Caleb and his crew were able to inject PolyLevel under the staircase, to provide stability for it to sit on, and keeping it water and wash-out proof, guaranteeing that the stability will hold. In the after picture, you can see the PolyLevel sticking out of the side. This shows how it holds stability, but once the project is completed, the extra PolyLevel spilling out of the sides is removed. This homeowner was left happy with the results, and glad that now they were one step closer to selling their home.
Janice had recently purchased this home in Braselton, Georgia when a heavy rainstorm caused the basement to flood. The water was leaking in through the walls. Fortunately, Janice had not seen any mold yet, but she was worried about it growing eventually, so she gave us a call to waterproof her new basement.
The main components of waterproofing Janice's basement included installing the WaterGuard floor drainage system, adding a TripleSafe pump system, and installing CleanSpace Wall System. CleanSpace is a fully waterproof vapor barrier that protects the home from moisture, while also giving the basement a clean, bright appearance. It also prevents the growth of mold in the basement.
Now Janice has a clean and dry basement, and she doesn't have to stress about the next storm!
The sidewalk was cracked and uneven, creating a tripping hazard and also a bad appearance. Caleb and George used the PolyLevel system to raise the sunken slab with expanding polyurethane foam. Then they cleaned up the crack and applied the NexusPro joint sealant.
This homeowner reached out to us because their porch was sagging on one side and it was disconnecting in places. After an assessment by one of our System Design Specialists, they decided it could be fixed with the installation of helical piers. Helical piers are great for stabilizing light structures like this porch, and they lifted it back to the original level. Quickly fixing problems like these allow homeowners to save a lot of money and stress by addressing the problems before they get worse.
This homeowner had called us here at Atlanta Basement Systems, wanting to repair the cracked concrete in their driveway in preparation to sell the home. For this project, we replaced part of the concrete driveway. They used NexusPro crack repair, to fill in the voids of the cracks, not allowing water infiltration and it will not deteriorate during the natural contraction and expansion of the concrete. Lastly, they used the NexusPro joint sealant to seal off the joints and provide the long-lasting, durable solution this homeowner was looking for. This customer was left pleased, and we were able to give them the opportunity to add some more value to their home when selling.
