This homeowner was dealing with a wet crawl space in their home, and here at Atlanta Basement Systems, we know this is a serious issue and we wanted to get it fixed for them. Jaime and his crew encapsulated the crawl space using CleanSpace and drainage matting, to allow the water to drain under the liner, keeping the crawl space dry. They also installed the SaniDry Sedona to keep this crawl space dry and allow clean air to circulate through the home. To return the sound structural integrity to the home, they installed SmartJacks and Helical Piers. These brought stability back into the foundation of the home, and gave the customer peace of mind.
This homeowner gave us a call because they noticed a musty odor in their home that they suspected was coming from their crawl space. After one of our System Design Specialists did an inspection, he found that the crawl space was damp and mold was growing in a couple of places, causing the odor. One of the children living in the home was already dealing with asthma and allergies, so this homeowner wanted to get his basement fixed as quickly as possible to protect his home and family. In order to fix this crawl space, we installed the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier encapsulation system, along with WaterGuard drainage, and a TripleSafe sump pump. All of these components will work together to keep moisture out of the crawl space, and the CleanSpace vapor creates a layer of non-organic material, so it will never facilitate the growth of mold. This homeowner can now enjoy a clean and dry crawl space that they never have to worry about again!
SmartJack Support Posts were installed to permanently stabilize and level this customers sagging bathroom floor.

This homeowner reached out to us because he was putting his house on the market and wanted to get a few things fixed first. Russell Bush, a part of our Real Estate Response Team, went out to the home and preformed a free inspection to see how we could help. He noticed that the crawl space wasn't properly encapsulated and very humid. Russell's recommendation was to use the CleanSpace system to encapsulate the crawl space and then install a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. Happy with this solution, the homeowner had us perform the work. Now the crawl space will stay clean and dry for the next homeowner!
