This home was experiencing damp, humid conditions in their crawl space, which was leading to excess humidity throughout the home and weakened air quality. The moisture was creating the perfect environment for mold growth, and structural issues. In the after photo you can see that the crawl space was encapsulated using CleanSpace. This provided the crawl space with a barrier between the moisture and the home. This keeps the crawl space dry, and allows for a dry home and better air quality.
This crawl space was wet and it can have an impact on the overall health of not only the home and the people living in it. Extra moisture in the crawl space of your home can lead to a build up of humidity, mold growth and wood rot if not treated in a timely manner. Once these accumulate they begin to circulate throughout the home, compromising the health of the family living in the home. To fix this issue, Juan and his crew encapsulated the crawl space using CleanSpace. The vents in the crawl space were sealed off and the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to keep the air dry and clean, leaving this crawl space usable, and the whole home safe and structurally sound.
This crawl space had high levels of humidity and moisture which were causing mold and damage to the wooden support beams. This was also making the floor weak and sag in some places. To alleviate these issues, Ken and Jonah had to remove all the debris and seal the crawl space vents first. Then they installed the CleanSpace drainage matting and liner to create a vapor barrier. CleanSpace is made with antimicrobial additives to prevent the growth of mold. Because of the moisture damage to the wood, they also added SmartJacks to support the foundation and prevent sagging. After going through a complete transformation, the crawl space looks amazing and will help protect this home!
This customer was experiencing issues with cracks and her driveway being un-level. This can prove to be an issue for many different reasons. Other than the fact that its annoying to have a bumpy driveway, it can lead to serious issues when it comes to the foundation and stability. Once cracks form in the concrete, it allows water infiltration which can lead to wash-out, ruining the structural integrity of the concrete. This is something here at Atlanta Basement Systems that we want to ensure no homeowner ever has to deal with, so we got right out to her house, and began to work at resolving these problems. To begin fixing the concrete issues, they started by injecting PolyLevel which is a high-density foam that expands to raise the concrete to the desired height. To seal the cracks the crew used NexusPro crack repair which is a silicone-based sealant that prevents water infiltration and will not deteriorate during the natural contraction and expansion of the concrete. This customer was left pleased that they no longer had a bumpy ride through their driveway, and they also had peace of mind that the integrity of their concrete was secure.
This homeowner was looking to sell their home and were trying to complete all repairs to keep the value before selling their home. They had noticed that the staircase leading up to their home was beginning to dip down, and they wanted to stabilize it, without the hassle of redoing the whole brick staircase. Caleb and his crew were able to inject PolyLevel under the staircase, to provide stability for it to sit on, and keeping it water and wash-out proof, guaranteeing that the stability will hold. In the after picture, you can see the PolyLevel sticking out of the side. This shows how it holds stability, but once the project is completed, the extra PolyLevel spilling out of the sides is removed. This homeowner was left happy with the results, and glad that now they were one step closer to selling their home.
