In order to permanently stabilize this settling foundation problem, Foundation Push Piers were installed. Foundation Push Piers were designed to lift and support a settled structure while preventing any further settlement. They are constructed from galvanized steel and can lift a foundation back to its original position. This system is a permanent and effective solution to foundation settlement.
This home had cracks that could be seen in the walls and dips in the floor in the kitchen. These are common signs of foundation issues. In order to fix the problem, we installed SmartJacks in the crawl space to support and lift the foundation back to the correct height. The SmartJacks are placed on a sturdy bases that won't settle over time and they can be easily adjusted to raise the foundation.
With GeoLock Wall Anchors, we prevented further cracking and movement of the retaining wall. This gave our customer peace of mind that their wall would be permanently secure and stabilized.

This homeowner called us here at Atlanta Basement Systems with concerns of foundation issues causing their garage lintel to sag. The foundation issues caused the brick of their home to spread, which caused the sag in the lintel. In the before photo, you can see the sag, and the cracks that had been caused by the foundation issues. Coley and his crew did a LintelLift, which is a curved steel beam, installed around the garage opening, which is then straightened out lifting the lintel of the garage. In turn, this fixes the sagging of the lintel, relieving the home of the foundation issues. The LintelLift will not repair the cracks, but those can be fixed, now that the concern is not with the integrity of the foundation of the home.
