This customer called us here at Atlanta Basement Systems with his garage area being a concern. His number one priority of this job was to get the garage lifted and stabilized. He was also noticing cracks on the outside of the home, the pre-existing ones were getting longer and new cracks had developed. The drywall in the garage was also developing cracks, so he knew this is something that he wanted to get fixed. Once the sales representative completed their inspection, they knew the best option to fix his problem was going to be the lintel lift. For the lintel lift they go through and install a curved steel beam on the sides and into the concrete at the base of the garage. Then, the steel beam is straightened out, and this is what lifts the garage up. The beam is then covered with a decorative piece to hide the steel underneath. They also filled in all of the cracks on the outside of the home, to keep up with aesthetics. This customer was left thoroughly happy with the results of this job.

The beam supporting this homeowner's kitchen was weak and sagging. The sagging beam pulled away from the wall, resulting in visible cracks and a bouncy floor in the kitchen. For permanent stabilization and structure safety, SmartJack support posts were the most effective solution.  

This basement had bowing and cracking foundation walls that were slowly worsening overtime. In order to stabilize the walls, we used the CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System. This system uses carbon fiber straps that are bonded to the wall. The straps stabilize the wall because the tension is up to 10 times strong then than steel. Justin and his crew were able to install the system quickly and efficiently. Now the wall is stabilized from further foundation problems.

This customer was noticing an issue with wavy floors in his home. This is when the floors are not properly stabilized and he wanted the framing structure of the floors fixed. Our crew was sent out to fix this issue for him, and we were able to do this with SmartJacks. These are steel beams that are placed in the space, they help to hold and distribute the load of the homes foundation. Once all of the steel parts are placed and stabilized, the SmartJack system is tightened in place to strengthen and lift the floors back to level.
