This customer was dealing with un-level concrete on his pool deck, and walkway to his home. He gave us at Atlanta Basement Systems a call, and asked us to send out a sales representative to give an inspection to determine what could be done to fix this problem he was having. After the sales rep completed his inspection, he determined that PolyLevel was going to be the best way to fix this. PolyLevel is a high-density, light-weight foam that is made of structural grade polymers. PolyLevel is injected into the concrete through small holes that are drilled. The PolyLevel then expands and lifts the concrete to the desired height, without adding any weight. This is typically caused by the natural contraction and expansion of the concrete during the change of seasons and temperature outside. However, once there are cracks and voids in the concrete, this can lead to a slew of issues. When water enters these voids is can saturate the soil underneath leading to wash-out which can lead to foundation settling. He called us and we were able to send a crew out to PolyLevel and use NexusPro crack repair to resolve these issues for him. It is injected through small holes that are drilled into the concrete with specialized equipment. The foam expands and lifts to the correct height without adding weight. The PolyLevel foam is also water and wash-out proof. The NexusPro crack repair is a silicone-based sealent that prevents water infiltrations and helps to minimize soil softening. They begin by cleaning out the debris in the cracks and then filling them with the NexusPro. This will not break down during the natural contraction and expansion of the concrete. The best thing is that it is fast-curing which means that the driveway is not out of commission for a long period of time. This customer was left satisfied with his results.
