The GeoLock Wall Anchor System was used to repair this customers buckling and cracked foundation wall.
This homeowner was tired of tripping over their cracked concrete, so they gave us a call to schedule a free inspection and quote. After going to the home, our System Design Specialist Trey created a plan to lift and level the concrete with our PolyLevel System and then fill the cracks with NexusPro joint sealant. The homeowner liked the solution and our crew that specializes in Poly went out to the home to do the work. After the work was completed, the homeowner said that he appreciated how informative the crew were with explaining the process. He also stated that he was very satisfied with how much they were able to raise and level the concrete!
The homeowner noticed that one of the finished basement walls was wet and soggy. During the removal of the drywall, a crack was discovered in the foundation wall. We sealed the large wall crack, installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier over top to prevent moisture from leaking in, and installed our WaterGuard drainage system to catch additional water to drain away.
This customer's basement wall had cracks that allowed water to leak in, causing mold and mildew to grow. We sealed the cracks and installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier over the wall to block water from seeping into the basement. As part of our ultimate dry basement solution, we installed a WaterGuard perimeter drainage system, a TripleSafe sump pump, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier in this basement.
In order to permanently stabilize this settling foundation problem, Foundation Push Piers were installed. Foundation Push Piers were designed to lift and support a settled structure while preventing any further settlement. They are constructed from galvanized steel and can lift a foundation back to its original position. This system is a permanent and effective solution to foundation settlement.
